This chronology, glossary, index, and generally hugely informative tome has been carefully and skilfully crafted by Alex’s sister, Isabella of http://www.isabellawhitworth.co.uk/ . Read on and enjoy…..

A note from the Izzo The Compiler:

I compiled this in the hope that Berrisite visitors can find some things they may want to read again, and also enjoy some things they may have missed. I shall continue to add to it.

Having suffered the double blow of being born neither a sailor nor an Australian I have tried to include some explanations for many things that have puzzled me. I am indebted to Steve and Malcolm for their help with some of the more technical explanations  but please don’t blame them if I’ve got things wrong. Please suggest things we can add and let me know if there are errors.

Numbers in an entry refer to map references. These are now listed against the logs  from the Berrimilla homepage. Logs written from one place (such as The Falklands) can be located by date.
